If you polish it out to a near mirror shine and then spray four coats like I did it will look like clean unpolished aluminum again. When it gets scuffed the mirror finish is again exposed which means wiping on another coat over the scuff. Webb30 nov. 2005 · I do it to get a real soft shine (like burnished stainless) on a hull after I use my aluminum cleaner, not so muct to get the SHARKHIDE to stick. Assuming it's new, just scrub it first with a hot, sudsey soloution (same as youl'd use on your car) to be sure it's clean, then (when dry) apply a couple of good coats of SHARKHIDE.
