WebGrasping is defined as approaching the object via a self-generated reaching movement with one or both hands, touching it, and getting hold of it. After grasping the object, the infant must hold the object for at least a few seconds to pass the item (Video 8.1). WebReaching is another skills that ties in with grasping.
