Web30 jun. 2024 · So, I guess I have to spend a lot of money on a new mechatronic unit. They asked BMW if, by chance, exist a service recall for this problem because they have heard that are many F48 cars with the same problem. We are waiting for an answer. I hope to exist. Guys, I have two options it seems. 1) I can get a used mechatronics unit from a salvaged BMW for $340.00. I would then have to purchase the sleeve and gaskets, etc. --OR--. 2) I can get an entire transmission for $900.00 with 101k miles on it.
