The dragover float camp is especially nice if you do not have arrangments for a downstream pickup - the river makes a 3-mile horseshoe bend and the put-in and take-out are 1/4 mile apart. So all you do is launch, paddle 3 miles, stop at take-out, and a short walk to your car.
