Use a piece of packing at the top which is the same thickness as the skirting board. I have fitted several PAX wardrobes. They are a nice, well designed piece of kit. WebI would leave well alone.If you take the skirting off now you will almost certainly pull off some of the new skimming and will look a pigs ear patched up.If you really want to remove the skirting, run a stanley knife along the top first to break the joint between the skirting and the plaster.
